• The Competition will take in place in 6 major venues :
• Bristol, Cardiff, Porthcawl, Llanelli, Caernarfon,&Wrexham 

        in June 2009 

• In addition to these Main Venues, the competition will visit a venue near you, if there

               are 30 or more competitors.

•   Competitors will be sent the Result of the preliminary rounds , at the end of June, and the successful singers will compete for a place in the Final at the Semi-Final at the Porthcawl Pavilion on Sun July 19th

 

•  The Final will be at the Riverfront Theatre on Sat September26th 2009

Age Groups:

Age Groups 9-11; 12-14 ;15-17; 18-21

Competition for the best Duo or Group( not more than 5) in each age group category.

New Extra Prizes  

The Beginners Prize: An extra prize for beginners of £50,will be awarded to the best beginner in 9-11 and 12-14 age groups. The winners will announced in the Semi-Final,even if they are not semi-finalists.The singer must be in the first 2 years of training.

 

The Classical Prize: An extra prize of £100 will be awarded to the best Classical Singer in the Age Groups 12-14;15-17 and 18-21. The adjudicator has the right not to award a prize if the appropriate standard has not been reached.  

 

 

• £1000 Prize Fund !

 

• A winner will be selected to appear in the

     'Chris Needs Show 'at a Major Venue in Wales .

 

• A Winner will be offered a Solo at the Rememberance Concert in the St.David's Hall Cardiff on Oct 31st 2009.

 

• Winners will be offered representation by a London Agent .

 

• The Final will take place in a Theatre in Wales , attended by celebrities, agents and Managers & Press.

 

• All singers will receive a written adjudication.
